I just got the unit. It seems to work well and is bigger than I imagined.

However, this vibration machine doesn’t vibrate.

Instead it rocks left and right.

I guess that’s OK, seems to have a similar effect at high speeds – just not what I expected.

I received the wrong item and posted an email to colorful. I had ordered the Whole body vibration machine butterfly shape and received the less expensive model without any explanation as to why I got a different product. Within several days they sent me the shipping notice along with a prepaid return shipping label. Although I received the incorrect product Colorful was very professional and expeditious in rectifying the error.

This is a great machine for the money. It does work best to use your own tools for assembly, but the machine itself is well-made and comparable to those I’ve seen at conventions and online that sell for over $1000. The machine runs smoothly and very quietly. I’ve been using mine for a little over 3 months now. I’ve had low back issues for 20+ years. My chiropractor has a WBV machine too and approves of my using mine. He even recommends WBV to patients. But, I’ve found I must ease into this very slowly. I tried the higher speeds, which make me feel exhilarated, but it can hurt my back at these speeds if overdone. Now, I’m gradually increasing the speed to level 7 each time, and will gradually build up to higher speeds as tolerated. (It goes up to 20 levels.) My chiropractor cautions me to slow the levels down before quitting each time. There are two positions that are not good for people with back problems. One is sitting on either half of the plate, the other is leaning over on the bars while standing. If a person is standing upright, the vibrations are helpful for back strengthening because the machine uses a rapid pivoting motion, more similar to walking. I have the impression that my back will get stronger and stronger as I use this machine consistently and don’t overdo it. Regarding weight management, I have not lost any pounds yet even though I use my machine for at least 10 minutes daily. I will say this, if I’m feeling sluggish, it really revives me in the afternoons. One last word of caution, do not use this machine on a full stomach. Personally, it works best for me to wait 1 to 2 hours after eating.

Used faithfully, most days, twice a day in three positions of 9 minutes each. Recently, I noticed that the vibrator unit was coming detached. On INSPECTION I discovered that the four moubting screws holding the unit were as follows. One was in order, two appeared to have been stripped when unit was assembled, and one apparently had never been installed. I was able to use three slightly larger self tapping screws to resecure the vibrator unit.If this fix does not work, I will resort to 4 machine screws with lock nuts. Using the unit relaxes me and I have lost some weight although I was not over weight. If these vibrator units were assembled with fail safe screws, I would give them a 5 star rating.

Hi Everybody! I researched the whole body vibration thing for a while and the other machines where so expensive, and I decided to go with this one after reading everybody else’s reviews. I’m in my early thirties and I’m very healthy. I really wanted to start whole body vibration training for the workout toning benefits it claims since I sit in an office all day and don’t get much exercise.

I am absolutely delighted with this product!!! I have only been using it for three weeks and I am so happy with it!! I still haven’t seen an obvious difference in my body, but that’s probably because I haven’t been using it for that long and I haven’t exercised more, the ideal thing would be to combine it with a cardio workout. I am waiting for the mini eliptical trainer I want to be available so I can order it and then I would be able to use both in my workouts.

The reason I’m so happy with it is because I’ve seen results in other areas, my body just feels great afer my 10 minute sessions. I have a lot more energy during they day. Also, I used to have problems with insomnia and was taking sleeping aids that weren’t helping that much. Well ever since I’ve started using the machine I’ve been sleeping like a baby, I think It is supposed to also help the body release i don’t know which hormone, but every night before going to bed I get on the machine for 10 minutes and then go right to sleep, it doesn’t even take me long to fall asleep at all and I sleep great!!!

I will post another review after a few more months of using the machine to share with everybody the results that might take a bit longer to show. I am also very happy with Tripactinc. The item arrived so fast!!!

The compact size of this machine is wonderful for my apartment, I live in a studio so my space is very limited. I can just drag it in front of the TV when I use it and then easily drag it back out of sight.

And don’t be fooled by its small size, it is very very very sturdy!! I feel very safe on it.

I was doubtful however after tryin this it really seems to be making my worksout more effective! Well put together!

FIRST OF ALL: WEIGHT LIMIT FOR THIS VIBRATION PLATFORM IS 220 LBS!!!

Shippment on this item wa svery fast. I received the vibration platform within 4 days. Packaging was very good. Nothing was missing , broke or damaged.

In the box was next to the parts of my virbation platform also a DVD and a softcover book. Both with the instruction manual and plenty of excercise suggestions for the platform.

Assembling was really easy, you have to put in and tighten 7 screws (included) and thats basicly it.

It has a timer that runs from 1 to 10 minutes. There are several settings for the speed of the vibrations, from slow (mild) to fast (strong). I am an activ person and used to workout, but not a gymoholic. And I stick so far to the lower levels of speed. The higher ones feel so far too strong for me.

The vibration is better than I expected, it does definetely “shake” you. I was actually surprised for the good quality I got for that little money. The whole machine makes a decent and strong impression.

There are two rolls at the bottom of the “stem”, so moving around is easy. The flexbands are sturdy and I like the way they are attached to the platform. They are easy to remove and easy to store, just click them in.

I use a folded baby blanket when I am working on it with bare feets or hands, but I guess, I will get used to do it without after a while.

You can workout on it or do some relaxation, both works great. I feel actually already better after 3 times using it. But I will work on it some more and give than another review on the effectiness. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to a friend,actually did already.

Here is what I would have like to have known BEFORE I bought this product, and BEFORE it aggravated my back! My chiropractor educated me about this vibration and she has forbidden me from using my machine!

- vibration machines with high intensity vibrations are considered unsafe by OSHA [...] (think of repetitive injury from high g-force like football players and jack hammer users.

- the research these high vibration machines quote is actually that done with low vibration machinces (the vibration levels in these WBV devices are 35 times greater in amplitude than those mechanical signals than what is studied out there. And bigger is not better in this case!)

- aside from the obvious bone and ligament damage, all kinds of other things like inner ear damage, reynauds disease, and cartilage damage can occur.

So short take, AVOID WBV unless you have done your research, understand the difference between low intensity vibration plates and the OSHA- defined unsafe high intensity ones. Ask someone like a reputable chiropractor or osetopath who has no financial interest in products what they think first!
